Wichita County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release a person, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly.

Wichita County’s jail contract creates a two-custodian record trail. Scott County operates the physical jail and can address the actual custody exit, release versus transfer, and physical booking record. Wichita County is the originating jurisdiction and can address its arrest, referral, transfer, and local records. The Wichita County court supplies the case disposition. No special records hours or fixed release-record fee were found, so call advice does not promise round-the-clock records service.

Use the official Wichita County request instructions for county-created public records. Scott County records still require a request to Scott County.
Use the route that fits the need:
- For a released person or release record, the home page gives the complete search and records-request sequence.
- For supervision after release, use Probation & Parole and the office named in KASPER or the court case.
- For the newest local custody exits, begin with Jail Releases: 24 Hours; no verified official online feed exists.
- For timing or notification, compare Projected Release with VINELink Inmate Search.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use KASPER. Sentence-computation questions go to KDOC at 785-296-3317; supported data corrections go to kdoc_pub@ks.gov.
- For a federal or immigration detainee, use the federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator rather than a county source.
Kansas VINE handles participating county-jail custody searches and alerts at 1-866-574-8463, with TTY at 1-866-847-1298. KDOC Victim Services is separate and covers qualifying KDOC custody or supervision notifications at 1-866-404-6732 or VictimWitness@doc.ks.gov. Wichita County’s Text My Gov service is a general county-alert channel, not an inmate release-alert service.
